About me!

Hello,

I'm Alex Benn, an independent artist and publisher illustrating amusing greetings cards (personalised for any of life's special occasions ... and FREE UK delivery!), wall art and detailed dog portraits all inspired by my love for dogs.

I began Foxer Cards whilst looking after my poorly mum. I use to visit country shows, dog trials, agility events and local shoots, whilst all the time being constantly amused by dogs, owners, trainers, the 'guns' and 'beater banter' that I encountered weekly.

Whilst Mum was resting, I'd get my sketchbook out and capture the days events ... showed my artworks to a few friends and some even bought them! and Foxer took off from there. Even though I'm not able to go out-and-about so well these days being disabled, I still keep plodding on with new card designs and very detailed portraits for Town & Country minded dog folk ... possibly like you?

My aim is to create meaningful gifts to be treasured for a lifetime and sending cards is a simple, everyday gesture and over time, these small yet meaningful gestures really do count.
